Sharon Neumann

Sharon is an international Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist and Senior Program Manager Certified with private offices in Traverse City. She developed senior programming at The Rock while in her county role with Senior Center Network, developed bereavement programming in 23-counties in her role with Munson Hospice, and has served on The Rock Board of Directors as a voting member until accepting her current position; she remains on its board of advisors. “Although I continue to work internationally on various boards such as ‘Tin Soldiers’ and as a consultant developing programming for all ages, my greatest commitment is to the health and well-being of our local communities and families. The Rock provides a well-rounded foundation of programming and serves as the gold standard model for community centers and engagement throughout Northern Michigan. We are well-prepared to grow into the future!” Sharon enjoys gardening and cooking as well as being anywhere in, on or near the water with her family and friends.
